• Characters can manipulate the life force in living beings, twisting and controlling their emotions for a short period of time. When in combat players may use this once per battle, manipulating the emotions of one target, forcing them to attack themselves, allowing the player a double roll attack.

• Characters can now summon a mythical companion that is twice the size of the character (cerberus or basilisk. Only one at a time and no other companion can be out while a mythical one is).

• Characters will find that small animals (anything smaller than the character) will now follow them and obey them.

• Characters will also find that they can draw life force from plants/animals (in turn killing them) to heal cuts and bruises.

• Characters can grow small (anything smaller than the character) plants, bending the plants will to fight for the player.

• Characters will find that they can now summon new companions to fight at their side (anything roughly the size of the character).

• Characters can now grow toxic plants, expelling their toxins into the air. The toxins cause the muscles to cease in those exposed to it, creating immense pain and paralysis for a short period of time. Vitas are immune to the toxins. 

• Characters can now sense all life forces (living or dead) around them, whether that life force is invisible or visible to the eye.


• Characters can now close their eyes and see through the eyes of their companion, controlling their companion to go into areas before the Vita does.

• Characters can now control insects / arachnids (and swarms of them), on top of controlling their companion.

• Characters will find that they can now summon new companions (birds no bigger than twice the characters size).

• Characters can sacrifice their companions life to enhance their own abilities for a short period of time (raising their defenses). Sacrificing a companions life will allow for the Vita character to be protected from one attack per battle.

• Characters can now grow and control a large (upwards of four times the characters size), monstrous venus flytrap with a taste for blood.

• Characters can now draw life from plants/animals (in turn killing them) to heal broken bones.

• If wearing the bones of the dead, Vita's are now granted a strength bonus of +2 to every attack roll.

• Characters will now be able to have three companions following them / fighting for them at any given time (rather than one at a time).

• Characters will now find that they can summon large companions (wolf or bear, never both at the same time).

•  Characters can now raise the dead, manipulating the will of their dead companions and/or plants (like they would with living companions). Be warned... these companions are dark in nature. They cannot bend the will of a companion that was sacrificed. 

Controllers of Life and Death.

Vita characters bend the wills of both plants and animals through the manipulation of their life force. 

(Please note, all Vita companion eyes glow the same yellow/gold as the Vita rune, or red if controlling a dead companion.)
